The piece chose from class had a very nice green glaze that was not the same all over. In some areas it was globbier and and different textures. The design and details of cranes and various nature marks lead me to believe that it was asian type of ceramics such as korean. I searched on google and found out that the pot is from south korea. It is from the Goryeo dynasty. Glazes of this time were usually various shades of transparent celadon that would allow white and black designs to show through. Te pots were usually brown shouldered bottles. The pottery could have been influenced by buddhism. The vase here is from South Korea in the Goryeo dynasty.
