Pink Princess Teapot

When I look at this teapot, I think of little girls with their little tea sets. The name, Pink Princess Teapot, is perfect for this wheel-thrown piece because not only is it pink, but it is crafted in a rather fanciful and tasteful manner for girls. On this piece, the pink glaze is soft on the eyes, with a gentle quality to it, and the white/pink slip design, while simple, is enough to keep the eyes entertained. The little bumps on this teapot seem to encourage children to run their fingers over them. My favorite parts of this teapot, though, are the handle and the lid. The handle looks like and curled wide ribbon twisted in a graceful manner, and the lid has a very pretty design at the top that looks like more ribbon coming out.
