At first, it was the bold red color of this teapot that caught my eye. I really love this deep red glaze! But the second most appealing and most interesting element of this piece is the unique handle. I've never seen a handle that has been connected to the spout! I find it to be very inventive. Were the spout and handle assembled at the same time? I also found the lid to be aesthetically pleasing. It is simply a rounded cover without an "eye-sore" of a nub as a pull. Altogether, I like these different elements that make this teapot unique, though I am unsure if I would use them for my own piece.
