This teapot immediately caught my eye, due to its simple yet intricate design. My favorite part about this teapot is its simple wooden handle and purple lid knob. The purple color and wooden handle draw people's eyes towards it due to their bright and contrasting colors. In my piece I hope to incorporate different colors of slips and glazes, intentionally placed to lure eyes towards it. Afukumae
