I choose this vase because it reminds me closely of the vase I drew in my sketchbook from class. They both have this shape, having a very large body and small mouth. This piece also relates to the other in design. Both have some sort of engraving or pushed in design. The vase in the picture has engravings of flowers and the one that we saw in class had engravings of swans. This vase has a celadon glaze, which I think is the same as that of the vase in class, the vase in class though has a thicker coat in comparison so the color is much deeper.
