Since I haven't seen anyone wanting to throw this as their final project, I thought I would. What I am going to throw for my final project is a Chalice. Chalices were used as a cup for those of the middle ages. I like the big round base that a chalice has, the long and skinny neck leading to the cup on top, and the cup shape at the top. I feel like a chalice will allow me to address all the throwing skills I've learned from wheel, such as pulling, centering, and closing so this will be a great project to end the year on. I can't wait!
