For my final project I was considering the creation of the 12” or larger piece and I was considering making it a lidded jar. The lidded jar is a cool form and I have yet to create a piece with a lid that I meant to create with the exception of the teapot that we made a few weeks ago. This led me to want to make a piece where I successfully make a lid that I meant to make at the very beginning of the piece. The form therefore would need to be measured after I created it, but while it is still fairly damp something I have forgotten to do every time I have wanted to make a lidded piece. By Shane E.
