This bowl was very interesting to me. I wanted to make something that had a clean silhouette and was symmetrical. But then I want my large bowl to be detailed and not as simple and plain. The rim on this bowl is very detailed and adds a certain look that i would love to incorporate in my final piece. This intricate edge is very beautiful and probably took a lot of time and was hand crafted. I hope to be able to add some sort of flower pedal edge like this one to my own piece.
