Final Project Plate Idea

I really like this particular piece because of its glazing and also it’s uniform shape. The unpredictable nature of how the glaze turned out is really what caught my eye, and on the brown clay body, this white, cloud-like design looked awesome. For my final project I want to throw some type of plate like this one, but possibly instead of using a brown clay body I may use a white one like porcelain and use darker glazes on top of it coated very randomly and in different thicknesses. Hopefully I will be able to achieve the same type of contrast and natural look that this artist was able to create through their piece.
