For my final project, I have decided to either make a large platter at least 12" wide and/or decorate my plate with intricate designs like this plate here. Making a large plate or bowl would be more practical and functional. This would be a challenge for me, as I am not used to making large pieces. And if I have time, I will decorate my piece with slip or dip my piece in transparent glaze and then apply stain.
